Company History
Quality Attributes Software was founded in May of 2003 in Ames, Iowa by Dwight Stewart and Craig Engelbrecht. Driven by the desire to provide high quality Internet based software applications that could be custom tailored to meet the needs of individual customers, Mr. Stewart and Mr. Engelbrecht used their considerable experience in computer programming, website development and graphics development to develop their first product, qAdvisor. With a commitment to excellence and through an individualized, one on one approach with their customers, Quality Attributes has grown from this first product to four product lines and now provide information technology solutions via a wide range of facilities management, business operations and financial software products and services.

The name "Quality Attributes" stems from the HVAC industry, where the company got its start in graphics development. All controls systems used for HVAC have inputs and outputs, and each of these inputs and outputs have properties called attributes. Since the control system graphics worked closely with these attributes, and because the company considers quality to be the main focus in everything it does, the name "Quality Attributes" seemed to fit quite nicely.
